Entry Requirements

  • South African citizen, age 18–35
  • Grade 12 / NSC with Mathematics and Physical Science 50%+ (technical streams)
  • Grade 12 for operations / port terminal streams

  • Medically fit (Transnet specific medical — includes rail safety roles)
  • Willing to relocate to a Transnet operating area (Durban, Saldanha, PE, Richards Bay)

Induction

Weeks 1–4

Transnet onboarding, safety induction (rail/port safety is mandatory) and introduction to the operating division.
