Entry Requirements
- ✓South African citizen, age 18–29 (YES) or 18–35 (W&RSETA)
- ✓Grade 11 or 12 / NSC
- ✓Currently unemployed and not studying full-time
- ✓No prior full-time work experience (YES requirement)
- ✓Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
- ✓Strong customer service attitude

Programme Structure
Induction
Weeks 1–2Shoprite values, customer service standards, safety and stock-control basics.
📍 Allocated store + e-learning
In-store experiential learning
Months 1–10Rotations across till-points, fresh, ambient and stock-receiving under a store mentor.
📍 Shoprite / Checkers / Usave store
Assessment and certification
Months 11–12W&RSETA-aligned summative assessment, portfolio of evidence and NQF Level 4 certification.
