Entry Requirements

  • South African citizen, age 18–34
  • Grade 12 / NSC with Mathematics (not Maths Literacy) and Physical Science at 50%+
  • English at 50%+
  • Be unemployed and not currently enrolled at another institution
  • Live in or near Secunda, Sasolburg or one of Sasol’s operating areas (preference)
  • No criminal record — security clearance required
  • Medically fit (Sasol-specific medical assessment)
  • Willing to work shifts and undergo trade tests

Programme Structure

Theoretical training

Months 1–6

Classroom modules at a SETA-accredited training provider (e.g. Sasol’s technical training centres in Secunda).
