Overview
Requirements
- ✓South African citizen, under 25 years of age
- ✓Minimum Matric level 5 (60%) in Mathematics, Physical Science and English (university students need ~65% average in prior year)
- ✓Studying or intending to study full-time in 2026 toward an undergraduate engineering qualification (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Industrial, Metallurgy) at a recognised SA university or university of technology
- ✓From a historically disadvantaged background / employment-equity group preferred; not already on a full-cost bursary; students with disabilities encouraged
- ✓Certified ID, Matric/academic results, proof of registration/acceptance, CV; shortlisted candidates attend a Transnet Academy interview and medical fitness assessment
