Overview
Requirements
- βCitizen or legal permanent resident of South Africa, Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Namibia or eSwatini (refugees/asylum seekers in South Africa also considered); resident in the constituency for at least five of the last ten years
- βAged at least 19 and not yet 25 on entry (1 Oct 2027), i.e. born after 1 Oct 2002 and on/before 1 Oct 2008; extensions to 28 for late first degrees and certain Health Sciences/medical graduates
- βCompleted undergraduate degree by July 2027 meeting the chosen Oxford course requirements; First Class Honours / GPA 3.70+ strongly favoured
- βIntend to study full-time at Oxford for a minimum of 2 years; meet Oxford English language requirements (higher level) if English is not a first language
- βSubmit online application (no fee), CV (max 2 pages), academic and personal statements, and four referees (three academic, one character)
