Requirements

  • βœ“South African citizen or permanent resident (foreign nationals only if permanently resident)
  • βœ“Enrolled at a public South African university in 2nd or 3rd year of LLB (no first-year or private-institution students); must be two years or less from completing the LLB
  • βœ“Minimum 50% average on latest academic results / strong academic record
  • βœ“Demonstrated financial need
  • βœ“Postgraduate applicants must already be practising or candidate attorneys with a BA/BCom/BIuris/BProc (Law) or equivalent
