- ✓South African citizen
- ✓Enrolled / planning to enrol full-time at a recognised SA public university for 2026
- ✓Currently unemployed
- ✓Strong academic record — minimum 65% average and passed all registered courses in the prior study period
- ✓Postgraduates: completed prior degree; preference to women, Black and disabled applicants in STEM
