- βSouth African citizen
- βEnrolled / planning to enrol full-time at a recognised SA public university for 2026
- βCurrently unemployed
- βStrong academic record β minimum 65% average and passed all registered courses in the prior study period
- βPostgraduates: completed prior degree; preference to women, Black and disabled applicants in STEM
