- ✓South African citizen
- ✓Enrolled full-time at a South African institution of higher learning for the 2026 academic year in an eligible geoscience discipline
- ✓Currently unemployed, available for vocational work during studies and work-back service to CGS upon completion when required
- ✓For current students: must have passed all modules of the previous year/semester (merit-based selection)
